A former resident of Honolulu, HI and Vancouver, BC, Janet is currently thankful for the cheaper rent, greener grass and wider-open spaces of Oakland, CA, and busies herself with teaching and earning an MA in English Literature and Creative Writing at California State University, East Bay. She often spends her evenings doing laps in the slush pile as Editor of Arroyo Literary Review (CSU East Bay’s award-winning annual publication), and enjoys it. Furthermore, she reads novels, watches films, and composes criticism of both (and only rarely for school credit). Fiction credits include Occam’s Razor and… well, this.
